A rather in-depth look at 2 elements of plane making you are not likely to see in any other video or book.
In my recent video, Mother Plane Project 1, a subscriber mentioned 2 books by John M. Whelan, The Wooden Plane: Its History, Form, and Function and Making Traditional Wooden Planes.
I was able to acquire the second book in digital form. I suggest to any members, here in this community, to share their thoughts on these 2 books. Feel free to start a new conversation, add to an existing conversation , ask questions or comment about any book regarding plane making. Please do not duplicate any portion of a book, rather, refer to a specific page if needed, a website link, ect., otherwise, translate the information into your own words. Let's respect the writers and their copywritten material.
I hope you are all busy and doing well. My hands are always full, projects, chores, side projects and a little recreation too. Not much to film, though.
The shark carving is coming along, always tough going for me because I'm not a carver ! The holidays are upon us soon, enjoy the time that remains in 2024, I'm certainly looking forward to the New Year ! Cheers !
Hello Everyone ! I hope you are all doing well and staying busy. I am as well,
pursuing different interests, away from the camera. At this time I don't have any projects planned, a few loose ideas that I may film someday. A friend is building a homestead, I may be involved in that project in the future, when that is, I can't say.
Good Luck !!
