I hope you are all busy and doing well. My hands are always full, projects, chores, side projects and a little recreation too. Not much to film, though.
The shark carving is coming along, always tough going for me because I'm not a carver ! The holidays are upon us soon, enjoy the time that remains in 2024, I'm certainly looking forward to the New Year ! Cheers !

The bottom of the sanding block is a 5/8" radius, same as the cutting face of the plane in my current build.

I was able to acquire the second book in digital form. I suggest to any members, here in this community, to share their thoughts on these 2 books. Feel free to start a new conversation, add to an existing conversation , ask questions or comment about any book regarding plane making. Please do not duplicate any portion of a book, rather, refer to a specific page if needed, a website link, ect., otherwise, translate the information into your own words. pursuing different interests, away from the camera. At this time I don't have any projects planned, a few loose ideas that I may film someday. A friend is building a homestead, I may be involved in that project in the future, when that is, I can't say.

As you may know, today, February 20th, 2023 I was notified via e mail that my latest video, released on the 17th, has been removed from YouTube because of a copywrite complaint. I have written back to the outfit making the complaint, which I am allowed to do, to try and resolve the matter. At this time, I do not know how the video broke the rules. I could guess and somehow try to re edit, but if I am wrong, I could get another "strike", and further jeopardize the entire channel. Also, I could unknowingly make the same mistake again, with another video, and risk another "strike". Too many of those and the entire channel and all my content could disappear from YouTube. Therefore, I will not post any videos until this matter is fully resolved to my satisfaction.
Until this time, my channel was in good standing and had a PERFECT record. I respect the rules and am proud of my record. Make no mistake though, I will not partake in a game of tag, a game where I have to guess ...
